Safety and Disposal Tips

  • Keep the SureClick Autoinjector out of the reach of children.
  • NEVER reuse an autoinjector.
  • Place the used autoinjector in a hard plastic disposal container with a screw-on cap or a metal container. DO NOT use glass or clear plastic containers. Puncture-resistant containers may also be purchased at your local pharmacy or may be requested through a toll-free information service: 1-877-9ENBREL (1-877-936-2735). DO NOT throw the disposal container in household trash. DO NOT recycle.
  • Keep the container out of the reach of children. When the container is full, dispose of it as instructed by your doctor or your child's doctor, nurse or pharmacist. Follow any special provincial laws regarding the proper disposal of needles and syringes.
  • Used alcohol swabs should be placed in the trash.

Scheduling Tips

  • Set aside specific times every week to give your injection of ENBREL.
  • Be sure to stick to your regular treatment schedule, even when you are travelling.
